Hello to all families!!! Welcome back, and Happy New Year! We would like to take this time to let you know of a wonderful new project/activity that we will be implementing this year which will involve bringing our families together with our kids during our day to day schedule and to establish a connection between home and school. These projects/activities will be scheduled once a month on the last Thursday of each month between the hours of 9:30-11:30. We are asking for parents who would like to volunteer their time as room parents for their child’s classroom. Room parent’s responsibilities will be to serve as a liaison between the teacher and the classroom parents to:

• Organize and provide classroom volunteers for all special activities and events by delegating responsibilities to other parents in the class.
• Prepare and activate the class emergency phone chain in the event of unscheduled early dismissals due to weather and or emergencies.
• Will help as an extra hand in the classroom for any classroom needs.
