As School Administrator, I’m the first stop in the enrollment process. You can contact me for information on availability, fees, waiting lists and the next step in enrollment. Once you’re admitted, I can help with parent accounts, payroll deductions, tax statements and Preschool entry via your Cane Card.  I also handle refunds, special payments, etc. (as well as the Preschool payroll!).

It is my privilege as the Executive Director of UM Canterbury Preschool, to introduce our program to you through our website. We are very proud of our accomplishments as well as our excellent reputation in the community. I have spent the last  thirty-two years working with young children and their families. Joining the UM Canterbury family has been such a rewarding, authentic experience as I have had the privilege of working in such a diverse setting that hosts a wide range of cultures and ethnicities.

I feel fortunate to work with such a great team of devoted and nurturing staff.

At UM Canterbury, we have had a long tradition of offering and fostering educational opportunities and events to support our children, families and staff. As the Gables Campus Director, and an alumni of the University of Miami, I  have the awesome task of managing the daily operations of the preschool program, staff and students.

What I enjoy most about the children in my classroom is seeing how they interact with each other as well as their teachers.  I enjoy seeing each child on an individual basis as well as in a group setting. Watching the children explore the world in the classroom and outside is exciting.  The children mean the world to me.
