Application, Registration and Enrollment The preschool enrolls children three times a year, August 1, January 1 and June 1, and gives preference to current full time UM faculty, students and staff, then to UM alumni and then to community members not affiliated with the University of Miami. We suggest parents start by contacting the Executive Director, Dr. Phyllis Bochman to arrange for a school tour at pbochman@miami.edu. At the end of the tour, parents may apply by submitting the application form and the $125.00 non-refundable application fee. Submission of an application does not guarantee enrollment as space is extremely limited and applications are considered by date of submission. Parents will be contacted by the Preschool when we are assured that a space will become available for your child. To accept the offer and secure the space, parents must pay the one-time non-refundable $500.00 admission fee; a place will be held once the admission fee is submitted to the Campus Administrator. At that time, parents may for a meeting with the child’s head teacher prior to the first day of enrollment. We look forward to welcoming you to the UM Canterbury family!
