Application, Registration and Enrollment The preschool enrolls children three times a year, August 1, January 1 and June 1, and gives preference to current full time UM faculty, students and staff, then to UM alumni and then to community members not affiliated with the University of Miami. We suggest parents start by contacting the Business Manager, Jersey Haracz, at jersey@miami.edu or (305) 284-5437 to discuss availability and waiting lists. Parents are strongly encouraged to then set up a tour of the Preschool by contacting the Campus Administrator, Juliette Williams, Coral Gables, at j.williams19@umiami.edu or Lisa Lee, Medical Campus at llee@med.miami.edu. At the end of the tour, parents may apply by submitting the application form and the $125.00 non-refundable application fee. Submission of an application does not guarantee enrollment as space is extremely limited and applications are considered by date of submission. Please feel free to contact Jersey to discuss the status of your application. Parents will be contacted by the Preschool when we are assured that a space will become available for your child. To accept the offer and secure the space, parents must pay the one-time non-refundable $500.00 admission fee; a place will be held once the admission fee is submitted to the Campus Administrator. At that time, parents may also pick up the registration package and arrange for a meeting with the child’s head teacher prior to the first day of enrollment.
